The lightning bolt represents the unit’s strike capability, while the green line symbolizes the Mississippi River. Originally approved in 1974, this design is worn on the Army Class A Dress Green uniform and the modern Pinks and Greens uniform. Patch measures approximately 2 inches by 3 inches with a merrowed edge.
