The Air Force Honor Graduate Ribbon, measuring 1-3/8 inches long by 3/8 inches high, is awarded to graduates of Air Force Basic Military Training (BMT) who achieve the honor graduate designation. Established on April 3, 1976, this ribbon recognizes excellence in all phases of academic and military training. Only the top 10% of each training flight are eligible, making it a prestigious achievement.
The ribbon features a wide ultramarine blue center stripe, flanked by equal stripes of yellow, Brittany blue, and white on either side. This design reflects the Air Force's values of excellence and professionalism. No devices are authorized for this ribbon, as it is awarded only once.
