The Air Force Longevity Service Award, now known as the Air and Space Longevity Service Award, is a ribbon awarded to U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force personnel for completing four years of honorable active or reserve military service. Established on November 25, 1957, this award replaced the service stripes previously worn on uniforms.
The ribbon features an ultramarine blue background divided by four equal stripes of turquoise, symbolizing the enduring commitment and service of Air Force and Space Force members. Oak leaf clusters are used to denote additional awards, with each cluster representing another four years of service.
This ribbon is a testament to sustained dedication and professionalism.
