The medal was previously affixed to a display and was carefully removed using hair dryer heat. Some adhesive residue may remain. All photographs provided are original and taken by our staff.
This medal is awarded to Air Force personnel for outstanding achievement or meritorious service that does not meet the criteria for higher awards such as the Commendation Medal. It recognizes significant accomplishments and contributions to the Air Force mission.
