This is a Novelty United States Army subdued shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) for the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (48th IBCT), a storied unit of the Georgia Army National Guard headquartered in Macon, Georgia. Often referred to as the "Lightning Brigade," its design features a prominent lightning bolt superimposed over two diagonal bars.
