WWI Era with a "C-clasp" with a T-bar hinge which typically indicates a late 19th century to early 20th century origin. The pin is thicker than what you see made today in order to go through the thicker materials of the time.

Military collar pins are small insignia worn on the collars of military uniforms to denote rank, unit, or branch of service.

The 45th Infantry Division was formed in 1923 and was composed of National Guard units from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
