The Coast Guard Sea Service Ribbon (CGSSR) is presented to members of the United States Coast Guard who serve more than 12 consecutive months of sea duty aboard a Coast Guard Cutter or attached to a Fleet Training Group. Established in 1984 additional awards are represented by wearing a Bronze Service Star on the service ribbon.
