The medal was previously affixed to a display and was carefully removed using hair dryer heat. Some adhesive residue may remain. All photographs provided are original and taken by our staff.
This medal is awarded to U.S. Navy personnel who qualify at the expert level in rifle marksmanship. It recognizes superior shooting skills with the M16 or M4 rifles during a qualification course.
