The Philippine Liberation Ribbon is a military award of the Republic of the Philippines. It was established on December 20, 1944, and later a full-sized medal was authorized on July 22, 1945. This ribbon was awarded to any service member, from both the Philippine Commonwealth and allied militaries, who participated in the liberation of the Philippine Islands from October 17, 1944, to September 2, 1945
