You may need to replace the 3 button cell batteries if you wish for it to blink lights. The pull tab is still in place on the ornament and I did not pull it out. The two I kept and pulled out and worked, but with being old stock, I cannot in good faith guarantee the batteries in them. If they work, consider it a bonus.
