U.S. Air and Space Forces Expeditionary Ribbon 1-3/8"L x 3/8"H

The U.S. Air and Space Forces Expeditionary Ribbon is awarded to personnel who complete a standard contingency deployment of 45 consecutive or 90 non-consecutive days1. This ribbon, formerly known as the Air Force Expeditionary Ribbon, features eleven stripes in a symmetrical pattern2. The center stripe is light blue, symbolizing Air Force capability, while the other stripes represent integrity, worldwide deployment, excellence, and the United States2.

If a service member is deployed to a designated combat zone, a gold border is added to the ribbon1. Additional awards are denoted by Oak Leaf Cluster devices
