The obverse side showcases a bronze hexagon with an American bald eagle at its center, wings spread horizontally, clutching three crossed arrows, and bearing a shield on its chest. The reverse side includes a name panel framed by the inscription "FOR MILITARY MERIT," surrounded by a laurel sprig.
