The U.S. Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal is a military award of the United States Marine Corps. It was established on May 8, 1919, and is awarded to Marines who have landed on foreign territory, engaged in operations against armed opposition, or operated under circumstances deemed to merit special recognition for which no campaign medal has been awarded.
The medal features a bronze circle with a stylized image of a Marine charging from right to left, with the word "Expeditions" emblazoned on the upper part of the circle.
