Measuring 1-3/8 inches in diameter and 3 inches in overall height, this medal features a pinback design for secure attachment. The obverse side depicts a sailor in full combat gear, symbolizing readiness and adaptability, with the inscription "EXPEDITIONS" above. The reverse side includes a laurel wreath and the inscription "UNITED STATES NAVY."
