Vintage subdued U.S. Army Air Assault Qualification Badge patch featuring the black embroidered helicopter over stylized wings on olive drab twill. This 2" × 1" sew‑on version was commonly worn on Vietnam‑era jungle fatigues and later woodland BDU uniforms. Awarded to soldiers who complete Air Assault School, covering helicopter operations, rappelling, sling‑load procedures, and airmobile insertion techniques.
