This vintage 1970s Thanksgiving turkey bread basket is woven entirely into the shape of a male turkey with a sculpted neck, head, and wide flared tail. Made from multi‑tonal split wicker or rattan, the hollow body serves as a functional deep‑dish tabletop bowl. Measures approx. 10" L x 7" W x 6" H. Traditionally used as a holiday centerpiece lined with a cloth napkin for serving bread or dinner rolls. It has been stored as a decorative floral basket and is dusty from long‑term display since 2002. Clean used condition from a smoke‑free home.
