This original World War II U.S. Army service bar patch features two gold embroidered bars on Olive Drab Green (ODG) wool fabric, measuring approximately 1.5" x 1". Each bar represents six months of overseas service, making this patch symbolic of one year served abroad. Sewn onto dress uniforms such as the Ike jacket or Class A coat, these bars were authorized for wear beginning in mid-1944 and remained a visible mark of dedication and deployment. Ideal for WWII collectors, reenactors, or uniform restoration projects.
