Original U.S. Military Police baton/nightstick holster manufactured by ALPCO in 1957. This Cold War-era holster is constructed from thick black leather with reinforced stitching and was designed to carry a standard MP billy club or nightstick. Measures approximately 3″ wide × 7″ tall when folded, and 10-1/2″ × 3″ when opened. Stamped “US” on the front and “ALPCO 1957” on the back, this piece reflects pre-Vietnam military issue gear. The original wrap-around retention straps are no longer present, rendering the holster non-functional for active use. Shows vintage wear consistent with age and service use.
